Penang latest hot place for leisure and food - Straits Quay. Well, I only been here for once, this is my 2nd visits and this time is for lunch. With recommendation from friends, we head for the Blue Reef Fish & Chips.
The main entrance of Straits Quay, always like to take photo here as there is decoration depends on the festival...
The restaurant is located at 3A-G-20, which is in Straits Quay West building, if you enter from the front, just turn to your right and walk straight to the end. It will be on your left with a fish sign there.
This is the sign you gonna see...
The entrance of the restaurant.
The environment is nice, suitable for friends and family gathering while enjoying meal....
The menu....
They do have "happy hour menu"......things are much cheaper during these time frame.
Well, an even better deal.....the "Weekday Lunch Promotion"....order a main course and add just RM1 to get a soup of the day with garlic bread and a glass of ice lemon tea.....
The promotion information is everywhere...:P
Don't like ice lemon tea? They do serve beer and wine as well.
The culinary set for you to enjoy the food.
All the sauce and seasoning to go with the food...
Ah......even if you don't order any drinks, they will still serve you a cup of nice cold plain water...ice lemon tea is on the left.....
The soup of the day, it was mushroom soup. The plate is huge but it is actually shallow, so just nice for a person to eat it. I was hope that the bread can be a bigger slice. :P
Seafood Galore (Cod fish) with bread crumbs...beware if you are ordering seafood galore, the portion is huge and enough for 2 persons to eat. :)
Seafood Galore (Cod fish) with beer batter...
Fish & Chips (Garoupa fish).
Chicken Cordon Bleu. I ordered this with recommendation from my friend. It is good. :)
The seafood galore cost RM55.00, Chicken Cordon Bleu is RM20, Fish and Chips is RM26. So it is around RM30 per person to have a meal there. :)
