My New Phone - Motorola C390

As my current handphone is not triband, which means not able to use in foreign country, I decided to get a cheap and good handphone with triband. With no intention of bluetooth, mp3, gprs and bluetooth headset, I was surprised to be able to get 1 with all these feature included but only cost me RM399.00.

This nice black color phone - Motorola C390 has blue backlight for keypad and a nice color screen (of course is not as nice as those high end). I felt so excited as this is the first phone I ever own to have a color screen and also have a chance to use a bluetooth headset. It is really convenient especially when I'm driving or lock my phone in the drawer. :)


The box of the phone, it is pretty small and light. Unfortunately, there is no extra phone casing bundled with.

The free bluetooth headset, silver in color. It will be nice if it is in black to match the phone. But no complain here since it is free. :)

A hefty day - Wedding photo session 02-03-2006

We were both on leave on this day, a once in a life time experience for us. Early in the morning, we prepared the necessary stuff, such as long sleeve shirts, black color slack and shoes, water, clean our face and hairs, breakfast and etc. After everything were well prepared, we head towards our destination - Aspial Bridal House at Macalister Road.

We went 2 rounds around the place as there was no parking available. Then, we decided to stop in front of the Bridal House and personally went inside for advice on where to park our car. One of the photographer - Kenneth then help us to clear out a place in front of the Bridal House for us to park our car.

While we were waiting inside for our photographer - Eric, Kenneth help us to take a photo before the make-up and photography session. I believe this is for the before and after thingy. :P

When the make-up artist - Rachel helping my wife, I was invited to rest and watch movie - "Flight Plan". Nearly after an hour, it was my turn to make-up. I was nervous as this is the first time I had to make-up. When I look at my wife, I hardly recognized her as the eye brows, lips and hairdo were all different. Then, I knew why she looks different when it was my turn. My eyebrows were shaved, my face were covered with foundation, my hair being turned into gold color and spiky. Hahaha...really a new experience for myself.

When the indoor photo session start, this was where all the funs started. Eric, our photographer had been unsatisfied with our smiles throughout the whole photo session. However, I believe that when the photo is out, we will be the happiest couple in the world (With the smile we had tried to put on our face, :P). We had been put into 3 different pairs of wedding gowns and hairdo, plus different background setting and pose, it will be tough when we needs to choose 21 out of all those. After that, the evening gowns came into play. All these had took us around 4 hours to complete.

We had a short rest and lunch. Then, it was time for outdoor shooting. After changing into the dress, we hop into the Naza Ria and head towards shooting destination. We had been ask if we had any particular place to shoot but we were both blank and I believed Eric could decide better. So, I let him to decide the place for us.

First place we went to is an old building somewhere behind gurney drive. Second place is a road side somewhere around Tanjung Bungah. Lastly is beach side at Batu Ferringhi. We felt fresh as the first and second place, we don't even knew they exist. The last place, I didn't know it is accessible. :P

I'm really thankful as the weather is nice...

Now, I'm feeling anxious to view the outcome of the photo. Can't wait for the photo selection on next Sunday. :)

4 SCC PG Gathering at "Rush Jimmy" 27-02-2006

Sick for a week, missing meeting my dear old friends at Wee Chea's place and also his babies, I decided to have this dinner cum gathering at "Rush Jimmy" in Bayan Baru.

It has been a few months back since we updating each others news even though some of us are working in the same company (:P). My life has changed a bit especially after "DotA" entered my life. (If you want to know what DotA is, go to DotA) :P

Wedding gown try out

Today, is the day where we went to try out and choose the preferred wedding gown at Aspial.


When we reached the place, it is full packed. It seems like there are lots of couple getting married that day because we saw a few bridal car parked outside the shop compound.

It seems like a few couples are asking for price and a couple just came back from outing. We had been guided to sit aside and wait for our turns to try out the dress as all their staff were busy. After a while, an auntie came to brought us upstair to try out the dress. She is very professional and had give us lots of advise and even help us on choosing the gown to try out.

As she seems very professional and very experience, I had a little chat with her where I found out that she is in the business of altering clothes and fashion design for nearly 30 years! I felt so lucky that someone so professional is actually helping us. All the dress she help us to choose looks nice on my wife. It is tough to select 3 wedding gown and 2 evening gown from dozens of nice dress. Finally, we managed to choose and the whole process took us around 1 hour. It was a pretty fast process as I know from some of my friends that it took hours. Or maybe we are "chin chai" type of people. :P

After that, we went downstairs to have a cup of water and getting some instructions on what to wear and bring on the day of shooting from 1 of the staff. Then, we went back home and have dinners. :)

Friday morning - surprise...

After a day leave for Bridal House shopping, I'm back to my cubicle in the company. There are 2 surprises awaited, a new IP phone and a new Linux box. I'm really surprise and delighted to see these 2 stuff as they are useful for me. The phone will let me know who calling (next time might can have a headset for easier support jobs) and the linux box can ease my eyes (don't need to strain my eyes due to not enough colors on SUN Solaris machine) and give me more processing power which will definitely help to speed up my testing work and supporting work.
